Safe and Sound Video

The purpose of the Safe and Sound video is to explain for a broad audience the project "vision" which we developed with funding from the RCUK Digital Economy research programme (administered by EPSRC and MRC). The project has successfully demonstrated that the concepts illustrated here are technically viable. The video shows how the research prototypes we have developed might be translated into practical patient care.

The video runs for about 11 minutes. You can either "stream" it here by simply pressing the start button, or download the original (215MB .mov format) for a much higher quality presentation (recommended). We hope you will be interested to watch it and invite you to let us have any thoughts about the video and the concepts it portrays that you wish to share. You can add notes at any time using the "comments" button below.

The Safe and Sound team wishes to take this opportunity to sincerely thank staff of the Royal Free Hospital and particularly Mr. Mo Keshtgar and the Breast Unit for their enthusiastic support for this research, and providing facilities for making the video.
